 Centering Meditation

 

Course DescriptionA paradigm change in the conventional model for decision making will be presented to facilitate changing perspectives on national security and terrorism by changing consciousness through stress management and centering meditation. This course will enable participants to support the President of the United States in the war on evil and terrorism, offer an effective strategy to counter threats to personal and national security, support organizational changes within FEMA, and provide a new framework for problems solving, program planning, and program execution thereby contributing to efforts to avert future terrorist  activities.

Participation is voluntary.

 

Objectives:  Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

 

·         Understand and appreciate the value of silence, and the difference between shifting consciousness and raising consciousness, in addition to knowing how to raise consciousness by a process of centering.

 

·         Be able to recognize scotomas and know how to remove them.

 

·         Examine, test, and evaluate an hypothesis that raising consciousness individually and collectively reduces and ultimately eliminates threats to individual and national security.

 

·         Achieve greater results with less effort, while enjoying more peace and well-being.

 

·         Bring about more harmonious work environments by dealing with internal stress reactions and resolving conflicts peacefully.

 

 

NOTE:  Inner research in silence as well as regular post-course centering is required.

 

WHO SHOULD:   FEMA staff who are subject to heavy work loads, long working hours, and anyone concerned with personal safety and security. 

Individuals with severe physical, mental, or emotional problems should seek private consulation with a professional theapist before practicing a centering technique.
