New Paradigm

Biofield

Scientific Basis for "Light" or "Halo Effect"

Technology that uses power from silence for problem solving and decisions

Cognitive resonance and eugenic radiance ("Inner Light") are two resources needed to transform human behavior. These are seeds for peace that are the result of experiencing states of silenceEmpirical evidence supports the hypothesis that conflicts and chaos within a population of any given size occur whenever individuals exhibit cognitive dissonance (See SDI Exercises).  It follows that extreme cognitive dissonance leads to terrorism and ultimately to war.  The opposite condition occurs when people systematically generate cognitive resonance and eugenic radiance occurs. This phenomenon is the result of physiological output, which is verifiable and measurable.  This technology points to the conclusion that the collective efforts of many people to silently access their inner resources results in transformation of human behavior.  Eugenic radiance can cause a spiritual recrudescence in America, such as called for by General Douglas MacArthur, and can conceivably provide spiritual shielding from the evils of terrorism, war, and other manifestations of chaos.

In 1994 the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) established the term "biofield." A biofield is an ensemble or matrix of different energies that extend outward from each person's body.  According to the latest theories and research in biophysics, the biofield comprises many of the life energies critical to human wellness.  These biofield energies regulate and balance multiple systems that range from the cellular to the whole person.  Prominent scientists believe the biofield may provide a scientific foundation for complementary and alternative medicine modalities.  One of the key functions of the biofield is to strengthen your ability to cope with stress.

The roots of modern psychology are rich with connotations of spirituality.  The  word “psychology” is derived from two Greek words, “psyche” and “logos.”  The former means soul; the latter refers to study or word.  Redressing the riddle of the relationship between consciousness and spiritual warfare, spiritual shielding, and peacemaking, it is a fact of history that behavioral science underwent a major paradigm shift, so that conscious subjective states suddenly gained acceptance as being legitimate for scientific explanation (Figure 3). It seems evident that across the board educators and reformers traditionally viewed consciousness raising as a function of getting or giving more information, as opposed to having more of the “Light of Life”, or to use religious terminology, more of the gifts of “Holy Spirit.”   With consciousness as a focus for developing problem solving skills, rather than the brain or the mind,  a whole new and exciting paradigm for dealing with the problems of evil, war, and terrorism in the world can be advanced.

Experiments performed in Sweden and Russia from 1996 to 1999 confirmed scientific findings brought to the attention of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency at the Pentagon as early as 1982.  The objective of the research was to study the correlation between multiple computer-interpreted bioelectric measurements and the physiological measurements of an altered state of consciousness (ASC) brought about during systematic mental training.  The relevance of the study by Konstantin G. Korotkov, Ph.D. and associates (Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, Vol. 8, No.2, 2002, pp.153-165) is explained by the fact that it demonstrated a window for learning mental activity mechanisms, solving problems of both traditional and alternative medicine, and, at the same time interpreting a number of social and cultural phenomena. “The data obtained allows the claim to be made that bioelectrographic correlates of the mechanisms of mental activity in ASC do not refer just to electrochemical levels of the brain.  The experimental data confirms psychoenergetic self-regulation in the transformation of the state of consciousness, which may be applied as a valid criterion of mental training, meditation and healing efficiency.”

The strength of the Korotkin study lies in the particular combination of the use of four techniques: 1. psychological evaluation and status control carried out in compliance with the Profile of Mood States diagnostic test; 2. computerized electroencephalography with spectral power analysis; 3. digital recording and computer processing of quasi-DC potentials  in the mV range at the forehead to detect bilateral asymmetry; and 4. computer processing of images and light emission from gas discharges around a finger, initiated by strong electromagnetic field impulse, called the “gas discharge visualization technique,” a digital stage of Kirlian photography.  The Kirlian (GDV) patterns in this study showed a form of “explosive activation,” which was stable, reproducible,  and correlated with changes in consciousness. The study of brain mechanisms  involved computerized versions of the Kirlian effect and included a complex bioelectrography approach based both on different brain mapping methods, and positron emission tomography scan.

When EEG (electroencephalograph) recordings are taken from two or more areas of the brain the degree of correlation as measured by mathematical protocols brain synchrony (Figure 4) and brain coherence is found to increase (Figures 5 and 6) .  The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency investigated this phenomena of field coherence, and found that computer methods could reliably spotlight occurrences of ongoing inter-hemispheric brain coherence appearing as surges in frequency patterns (COSPARS) on a Coherence Spectral Array (Figure 7), and that coherence could be correlated to changes in human consciousness and behavior (Figure 8).

A basic principle of higher consciousness theory is the existence of a dimension of human consciousness that is greater than and beyond ordinary conscious awareness. This domain beyond rational thought is believed to be the source of thoughts (Figure 9).  By increasing levels of the C Factor, or raising consciousness, thinking and action can be expected to become more positive.  Individuals become more transformed, because there is more “Light” an invisible light beyond the visible spectrum ("enlightenment").  Insufficient "Light of Life" implies that there is relative mental darkness which obscures real costs and benefits associated with choices when making tradeoffs and decisions. Connecting with this larger domain which is part of oneself is at least theoretically instrumental in the process of becoming more creative, healthy, and fulfilled physically, mentally, and spiritually, i.e. “enlightened”.

A recent innovative theory in the field of consciousness development is the unified field theory of modern physics.  The unified field theory is considered by some researchers and scientists to be the source of all the fundamental force and matter fields, which in turn provides a basis for all areas of human endeavor (Figure 10).
