That is Taizé prayer (pronounced teh-ZAY).

This loosely structured Christian service features scripture reading, repetitive singing, and meditative silence - a combination of traditional forms in a contemporary way.  The goal is to enable participants to remain open to the voice of God and discover the prayer within themselves.
