MEDITATION     

                                  THE HALO (Peace Shield) EFFECT        

You are a "Point of Light" in the world; an emanation of the Light of God.   Every person is born into this world with the Life-Light from God.  In some people the Light becomes diminished as they experience the dark side of life.  Through prayer, meditation, positive thinking and action, and your relationship with God you receive more of the "halo effect" or "eugenic radiance."  We all have a "halo effect," (life-light) which is a function of having life itself.   Your Light in a sense can grow brighter or become dimmer depending on your connection with God.  It starts within you, radiates into the space around you, and touches every person you meet throughout each day, whether you believe it or not, or whether you are consciously aware of it or not.     As your connection becomes deeper and closer to God, this shield of invisible Light is an emanation of God's Light (" Halo Effect").  It can become brighter and larger and will protect you from destructive forces and influences! 

Many paintings through out the ages have shown pictures of Jesus, Mary the mother of Jesus, holy people, angels and saints with halos painted around their bodies or around their heads.  Did you ever wonder why halos were painted over the heads and bodies of those people?  It is because the halo shows the life-light within them and also the Light of holiness that shines through them.  This "halo effect" or Light (of God) is the result of living a holy life.  There are people who can see this light radiating or emanating from others.  So it is safe to say that down through the ages others must have seen this light radiating too. 

Using meditation then, can be of great value and benefit in many area of our lives.  Looking in the New Merriam-Webster Dictionary it describes the word "value" as precise meaning (~ of a word): luminosity of a color: BRILLIANCE: also: the relation of one detail in a picture to another with respect to lightness or darkness: a principle or ideal that is desirable - human rather than material.

Collective Halo - An invisible shield of Light for national and international Security

Exercises which involve joining collective consciousness on a large scale through prayer and meditation bring about a much larger "halo effect" and can be directed to achieve specific goals, such as ending or averting war or other destructive influences which cause suffering in the world. As more and more people create the "peace shield and halo effect" (eugenic radiance) the world

 becomes a safer and more secure place for everyone. Therefore, the "peace shield or peace shield and halo effect" can be regarded as God's shield of divine protection.  (See Source of the Peace Shield idea.)
